Savannas Bar and Bistro

Outstanding food and the service was excellent. Great to have a new restaurant in Amherst. The atmosphere is outstanding. I highly recommend Savanna’s!!

Nice staff, beautiful place, and good food. We ordered pasta and Margherita pizza, and they were pretty good. For dessert, we ordered Mississippi mud pie and creme brulee, and both were delicious.
There is room for improvement, specifically for their pizza.
Between 4-star and 5-star, I prefer to give a 5-star because of the nice staff.
It is better to make a reservation in advance.

I had two occasions to eat at Savanna's last week. One was a group event for cocktails and appetizers. The food and service were amazing. The bartenders served everyone very efficiently and the flow of appetizers was constant. The atmosphere is warm and contemporary. Later in the week we held our company holiday party here. We had a group of about 15. Everyone was delighted with their food. Again, flawless service, not to mention the creative entrees. I highly recommend the rack of lamb. I can't wait to go back again. A must go, you'll love it!

All the things you look for in a go-to restaurant. Welcoming staff with a "can do" attitude, ambiance, and phenomenal food! The menu was extensive, with each of the 5 of us ordering different items. We were informed by the owner, who "did the room" greeting and chatting, that the Ahi tuna had come in fresh that morning from Boston. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Also a good selection of beer and wines. Although it was extremely busy, servers and chefs maintained their composure, their sense of humor, and delivered a great meal seemingly effortlessly. Highly recommend.

Entering the well designed and farmhouse chic decor made me feel comfortable right away. Trevor was a true gem from his warm greeting to professionalism when check in on us through out the evening. Our server was just as delightful! I order the fig martini and sweet sticky ribs to start and was blown away. The main meal was the savory Italian fire grilled pizza cooked to perfection with well balanced flavors to delight the palate. I ended my meal with the trio of creme brûlée…. what a power of deliciousness. I cannot wait to go back again soon!! Thank you, Savannas for knocking it out of the park!
