The menu is extensive, the staff is welcoming and the ambience is on point. The meals my friend and I each got were delicious. I had been wanting to check this restaurant out since I heard of its opening and I’m sad to say I didn’t try it sooner. I look forward to trying different menu items when I return.
*Meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike can enjoy a healthy meal!
Also, Pulse has some of their menu items in the prepared fridge like soups, salads and sandwiches to go, and they also have a great variety of other grocery items available for purchase.
Truly enjoyed my food at this Vegan restaurant. I even ordered takeout.
A faux fireplace created a very relaxing atmosphere.
Service was excellent and very patient with the questions that I had about the various dishes.
They also have a section in the restaurant where you can buy vegan groceries.
This was my first time patronizing this establishment and I will DEFINITELY be returning!
I have yet to actually eat here, but had the opportunity to sample some of their menu at Veg Fest in Worcester.
A full day later, I'm still fantasizing about the chicken and waffles I had. The waffle was sweet, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and had the perfect amount of vanilla. The "chicken tender" was thick and juicy and the batter coating it was perfectly seasoned. It was accompanied with the most amazing vegan butter and real maple syrup making it the perfect balance of sweet/creamy/salty/carby.
I was there for the Sunday brunch and had the Tofu Benedict and French Toast along with a smoothie. All of it was good but they put yellow pepper in the Tofu Benedict which is not really my thing (actually, I'm hypersensitive, so I notice). The place is spacious, nearly all vegan (I noticed honey in one of the drinks in their grocery section), and has WiFi along with (look for them) outlets to plug our ubiquitous devices into.
Pulse always offers a great selection of vegan meals that taste fantastic. I'm not even vegan, and when I come through Hadley, I make it a point to stop in to eat here! Prices may be a little higher than most areas, but you get a portion that completely justifies is, especially with the quality of the food being as good as it is. If you haven't gone to Pulse Cafe, you're really missing out.
