We visited here for the first time since they switched from being the Red Raven and we found that it's substantially the same. All our favorite dishes are still here and a few new ones are added. We had the guacamole appetizer; very good! My wife had the lobster mac&cheese which was great. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was very tasty. For dessert, the salty caramel ice cream; mmmmmm! The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. Overall: strongly recommend.
What used to be Scupper Jack's, then Red Raven, is now Frolic and Detour. We've been there twice now and it's better than either of the previous iterations.
A more extensive menu than the last iteration, Red Raven, with multiple beers on tap. The salmon was nicely done - my wife and I both enjoyed it. The crab cake appetizer was good, as was the tuna appetizer.
fun, friendly service, visited this past Saturday night for a party for a friend. Never knew about this place could be quite the hidden gem ! I guess it’s Farley new ?? Witty bartenders, great banter, how a bar should be!
They were a little lax in the beer dept. Out of the ones we wanted but they were able to suggest some great replacements, the knowledge was there, shame that a lot were out maybe update the menu so it’s not a guessing game ? I had my heart set on the cheese board … needs a little beefing up, but I'd come back anytime for the fun, whitty banter.
Im terrible with names, but one had an adorable little schoolgirl look going on and was a hoot! The other I remember is Sara, cause I was calling her Sassy Sara!
There was a lady walking around whispering angry nothings to herself. Found that to be a little strange. Bartenders seem to still be smiling hard working and having a blast which is nice to see, they had live music which wasn’t that bad. I’d def go back we had a great time!
New menu (compared to the previous restaurant in the space). More fine dining and vegan options. Still a great bar with interesting beers on tap.
Having been a long time patron of the prior restaurant at this location I'm pleased to say that this new venture has so far been wonderful. There's a new menu, new vibe, and some old faces and still a very comfortable atmosphere. Food is great and more options are available. Bartenders, staff and servers are always friendly. Pam and Jonathon and others are like old friends. Usually a bar fly but had to take a table on jam packed St. Patrick's and new server Maddie was attentive, friendly and got everything right despite how hectic it was! Will be back soon!
