Singh Saab Restaurant

A I entered the restaurant, I was really concerned by the setting. It looked as if the place was in the middle of a new paint job. Overall red and black tones gave a somewhat dated look. But once the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Fish tikka masala and lamb balti were prepared thoughtfully and properly. I never had a "balti" before. The version here used braised cuts of lamb, onions, peppers. Generous portions of lamb could have been cut smaller, but the braising was done correctly (properly seasoned, not dry). Fish in tikka masala was also properly cooked; a welcome break from the usual version with chicken. Garlic naan was well made too - not too bready, which masks the garlic flavor. Hope they redo or finish redoing the dining room!

The lunch buffet was very nicely priced. The garlic naan was excellent, and there was good variety in the individual dishes in the buffet. There was a spicy hot dish that was made with cauliflower. It was especially good. We will be taking groups of our friends in the near future.

We ordered from them twice and I am pretty impress with their service. Food amazing,service amazing,delivery on time,quantity amazing as compared to other indian restaurants,quality superb,home delivery is also in good tight containers.Must try guys.
This is so far the best indian restaurant which I have tried in Boston.
