Good pizza good service.
Very good pizza. Great crust. Wings are a bit small but the Buffalo style ones were very tasty and crispy.
This place is surprisingly awesome, and I only say surprisingly cause literally every other single pizza shop within a five Mile plus radius in this town are are almost inarguably standardly disgusting, producing the same tired greasy floppy Greek style cooked in a pan pizza and small town forgettable uninspired subs that they have produced for thirty plus years with barely a single change made to the menus. I grew up in this spot in town since I was a kid and can safely say these other pizza places are so obsolete it's just about time to get their obituaries in order. Pizza mine is the only one to do talented hand stretched, actually home made italian pizza and calzones. I had a spinach feta calzone that was bigger and far far better than any I've had in that town. The pasta is wicked good too offering unique choices and obvious fresh sauces and cream sauces, not just the standard fare of canned crap you usually get in that town. The friendly customer service, and specifically the people who answer the phone are wonderfully nice and thorough, and should hold a clinic on how to do customer service to all the other shops around that area, as this place is the only place I've been in where it's clear that the staff, especially the owner actually really care about their product and customers. It's very easy to tell that most of the pizza owners in that town have given up and only just produce products to keep the door open. I assure you I have no familial or work connection to pizza mine other than I've been a customer for a while, live directly in the area and am so so imcredibly tired of having to deal with disgusting thirty year old obsolete lazy pan greek pizza that has infected that area with lazy products and uncaring, uninspired owners who easily illustrate that their probably isn't a single recipe in their restaurants that they have created or even show they have the skill to make a unique new dish, unlike pizza mine who just implemented a brand new, authentic and accurate Sicilian pizza offering something completely different from their other pizzas we need to make sure we patron places that put skill into their food exactly like Pizza Mine. I think it's wonderful to hire young school kids to help do things in a pizza shops, but if these young inexperienced brand new workers are able to make your store's pizza, like every other one I've seen first hand in this town, then your pizza is lacking talent or skill and shows in it's boringness and blandness. Had I want heated up crap by a school kid, I'll have em pick me up a frozen Digornios instead of the gross products coming from the downtown, town hall area. Do yourself a favor if your in Ashland and are looking for actual pizza or different choices, go to pizza mine, it's the only pizza place in town I'm willing to bet you won't leave disappointed or bored as hell of the food, as they employ actual experienced cooks who can hand toss, stretch, and cook excellently. This place is the best, keep it doing well and holding the other gross shops in town accountable for their mostly garbage food they shove out so we don't have to settle for townie grub. This rant stems simply from the fact that it has to be advertised that these other town pizza shops, other than pizza mine, really need to just finish up fading away into history.
I grew up in NJ and NY so I have high expectations for pizza. Pizza Mine is the only place that I have found in the area that I'll order from.
