    The best sandwich shop in the area. Highly recommend. Great deal for the price. Don't let the mid-day rush fool you - staff is efficient and quick. You'll be in and back at your job in no time!

    Al's is the only sub sandwich joint in the Boston area that I would recommend visiting, and fortunately they are deserving of their acclaim. See the people everywhere with yellow sandwich bags? Head the direction they're coming from, and all those paths invariably lead to Al's.

    Fast and tasty sandwiches. Very reasonable prices, especially if you get the large sandwiches. If you're not crazy hungry, you can typically make two meals out of a large sandwich for around $10. I've never tried the cold subs but the hot ones are great and they don't skimp on the meat. Could be nice to have a little bit more non-meat items in some of the hot subs but other than that it's great. Lines are pretty long at lunch time but they move fast.
