Armando's Pizza

Great li'l pizza place tucked into residential Cambridge. Grilled chicken wrap is phenomenal.

Still my favorite pizza since I was a kid living in this neighborhood 50 years ago when Armando sponsored our little league baseball team. Love this place. Please never change.

Good pizza, not a lot of choices in terms of appetizers. The tables should be wiped down far more often than they are. It's not terribly clean, but considering I've seen rodents in the upscale Cafe around the corner, this place is a decent choice. They are cash only.

What really bothered me was that it's cash only. It was my first time, I ordered through phone so I just got aware of this when I went to pick up my order. Thankfully there's a ATM on the shop across the street ($3 fee).
About the food, I got an Italian sub and it was okay, nothing special tho.

Cash-only standby of the best sort of cheap pizza with a case for can/bottle sodas. Expect vinyl tables, framed newspaper articles and sports trophies, and lots of regulars coming to pick up pizzas to go. Not much ambiance but that’s not what it’s selling. The right kind of chew and just enough crunch in the crust.
