Barcelona Wine Bar

Truly phenomenal all around. Definitely the top restaurant of my recent trip to the Boston area. It was a fantastic birthday dinner complete with my favorite tapas (including some vegan tapas) and excellent Cava. I especially liked the eggplant caponata and pan con tomate. The patatas bravas, naan bread, and manchego croquetas were also superb. Our waitress took fantastic care of us and the whole interior design of Barcelona was comfortable, homey, and authentic.

Great experience. Our host Adam was very kind and attentive. Our server Isabel gave great wine suggestions and tapas are all delicious—I’m guessing you can’t go wrong with any. Good spot!!!!

I would definitely recommend coming here for food or drinks!

I have been meaning to check out Barcelona Wine Bar for a while, and now there’s one right in my neighborhood! Currently, they are doing a soft opening and only taking walk-ins. The servers/bartenders were attentive and friendly, and also offered helpful info and suggestions about the menu. The vibes were immaculate, with a dimly lit and very well decorated interior, and they also offer outdoor dining! This would be a solid choice for a date or a group get together.

This spot has one of the largest wine menus (by the glass) that I’ve seen at a restaurant in Boston, and the bar is also incredibly well stocked. The red sangria was the perfect blend of fruity but not too sweet. I also ordered some tapas, which arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. They are especially good at doing seafood, so I would recommend trying some of their seafood dishes.

Awesome to have in porter/harvard. Happened to go on their second night open and everything was amazing. Insane wine list with great labels.
