I was surprised how much I liked it. The kitchen was slow and the staff busy but everything that was brought to us was delicious.
I really enjoyed the Falafils, Fatoush salad and the Lentils (both appetizer and soup) was particularly good!
Had to ask for drink refills every time. Our order came out incorrect and they acted like it was our fault. Ate it anyway, and it was tasty. The Arabic coffee after dinner was great. Can’t really justify paying so much for the service, however.
Generous portions, friendly service, and well-spiced food. We got an appetizer sampler, couple drinks, two kebab entrees, and with tip the bill came to $92. It was a worthwhile expense. We'll definitely be back.
They do things the right way here. Delicious, authentic, healthy Lebanese food right on Mass Ave. My family and I have been going to Cafe Barada for over 15 years (used to be in Arlington but only the real ones know that), and have never had a bad meal once. After all these years, the owner still recognizes me and my family.
Everything on the menu is authentic. Food quality is outstanding and quantity is generous. The hummus is the best I have ever eaten. Don't pass on the baklava for it too is fabulous!
