Very limited menu but everything we ordered was excellent and the folks at the next table were enjoying their food, too. The waiter wasn't exactly welcoming but he was attentive, prompt with food delivery and helpful with wine choices.
The food was very good and interesting. Had fried artichokes and a steak. Their take on the Cosmo is wonderful! Can't wait to go back.
While I miss Shepard (the restaurant here before this one), this is almost on the same level of quality. Service is still exceptional and each dish is executed with precision. The menu is smaller than Shepard’s, but I don’t think this impacts your restaurant experience. This is a great place to get a reliably good bite to eat on a night of celebration. Good selection of interesting and tasty local beers as well as quality cocktails.
Good food and ambiance but one of the waiters was very rude (short, white, dark hair with a piercing in his nose). I asked for tissues and he told me behind my back: be a grown up and go get them yourself. Completely unacceptable behaviour. It is apparently not the norm for restaurants in the US to have tissues on the table (usually napkins), but a waiter has no right to be rude when asked politely (and partially ignorant). All over the world, it is normal to ask for tissues from a waiter especially when you tip 20%. He could’ve told me where they are (very simple). Cheers.
