Cool spot for brunch. Roasted chicken seems to be their specialty. Out of the four eggs my partner and I got for our Benedict, three of them had hard yolks. My favorite part was three Halloween siege which was so crispy, though a little on the greasy side.
Ate at the bar with my son late night. Really friendly staff. I believe the bartenders name was Kendall??? She was so friendly and welcoming (my son was a new arrival in the area). I recommend the Blistered Shishitos. Trust me, they are tender and delicious.
The Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich was great. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Don't change a thing. I ordered online and it was prompt and couldn't have been more easy. It smelled and looked so good, I ate it before snapping a picture. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!
Recently had dinner as a group of seven people (including a six year old) and it was the perfect location for a casual late summer night dinner. Cocktails and wine were all good. The salad was probably the best I have had in a restaurant in about three years. Super green and not drowned dressing (I'd love to get my hands on some of that almond dressing, FYI!!!). Everyone else enjoyed their meals. I'd also had brekkie here with a friend the previous weekend and had a similar experience (any place that is using loose leaf tea instead of tea bags is practically an instant winner!). The service was very good. One of the waitresses as so engaging with my daughter and complimented her on her unicorn purse which had proudly toted along to dinner. The real winner here though is the design - bringing the outside in with the gorgeous bi-fold doors and making it feel so open despite the number of tables. Thanks so much Shy Bird!!
Absolutely loved this place till tonight. As a regular, I used to come here 3-4 times a week after work with a group of folks. On Sunday 9/5, we sat for several hours during a holiday weekend over food and beverage, keeping to ourselves while having a good time. Also over hours, we had ordered 2 rounds of tequila, to which the bartenders had kindly poured us hefty volumes (when we had ordered single servings each time). They had apparently alerted the manager, who cut us off without warning, when we were the furthest thing from needing to be cut off. Being dramatic here... and quoting Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, "Big mistake... big mistake." As regular patrons and people they know well, I simply would have hoped for some level of communication if there was any cause for concern... instead of an abrupt, "You're cut off," with absolutely zero grounds. This was simply about how the manager handled the situation (i.e. took a non-situation and made it a situation without proper communication). No worries though, we'll be happy to take our business elsewhere. Thanks for the good times.
