This is a small place with a small menu, but the food is delicious. It is NOT your garden variety Tex-Mex restaurant. You will get nicely sized portions of good food at an affordable price. What's not to love?
Lovely little place. Food tastes great and service is very friendly. Pupusas are soo good. Will be back.
Wow, excellent Tacos.
I’ve spent lots of time in the Southwest eating various Mexican food and this place is very authentic.
I had the Combo Tacos with all the toppings. The flavors were excellent, the meat was slightly tough but easily chewable, and the portion was very worth the price.
(This is a copy of the review I posted on Yelp)
I'm not giving them five stars because they were good; I'm giving them five stars because they were _fantastic_!
Went here for the first time today. I have tried a great many of the different restaurants in the area, and I know for certain I'm coming back here regularly for lunch.
I ordered the three-taco combo. The food was _delicious_, and the sheer quantity of food was frankly surprising giving how reasonable the prices looked _before_ I knew I wasn't even going to be able to finish the portion (and I can pack away a lot)! I genuinely feel they should charge a little more, since I would gladly pay it for the quality and quantity of food.
And all that, and the owners were humble and gracious and just seemed like they wanted to give us a quality experience. The food came out fast, and, again, super surprised at the quantity given what I ordered and what I've received at similar places!
Others have mentioned the small menu. I don't personally find this an issue, given what's already on the menu is what you'd expect to find at a place like this, and they'll very likely be happy to try to make something off-menu if they have the ingredients for it. And if a small menu means the quality is kept high, I'm not about to question that.
Spent ~45 minutes total in the building, from ordering, eating my (delicious) meal, talking for a bit with lunch-mates, paying, and leaving.
Highly, highly recommended for a quality lunch!
