Went in for oysters and they were incredible! Sat at the bar with my husband and we had a lovely talk with an older couple about our collective travel adventures! This place never disappoints
We have been to Moonstones many times to meet friends from NH. The food was delicious, despite the small amount and high price. My friend had overcooked bacon on her salmon, but the rest of the meal, including carrot hummus (small even for an app) and creme brulee for dessert, was yummy. My lower rating was really for the management piece and inconvenience. We had reservations and were asked to wait at the bar until the rest of the party arrived. We had lovely cocktails and the group arrived, who was also told to wait at the bar. After 45 minutes, we asked about the table and were told that our reservation was cancelled since they assumed we were just having drinks. No one bothered to ask us about our reservation (which they also cancelled on Open Table). After promising a table, we were provided with one in the bar area, next to the live music, which was not OK, but we didn't have a choice since by this time, the kitchen was closing. We are rethinking our meeting place for next time.
Our first time here we accidentally stumbled across it just looking for something to eat. What we found was a great Tapas restaurant. Everything that you could ever want. Do yourself a favor and make your way to this place.
Great find. Delicious. Their Korean from their lunch menu is to die for. Lean pork belly with rice and kimchee. Note the pork belly is fried and gluten free. Delicious!
With a broad range of food options for just about everyone, Moonstones presents it all with quality and a sophisticated vibe. International fare you know you want to try. Vegetarian options tasty and satisfying for even your carnivore friends. Great mixed drinks. A friendly bar for solo dining. Business traveler stuck in the Boston burbs? Go here. Trying to impress a date or set the stage for a business dinner? This is your spot. Much more "chill" than that fine fish restaurant across town. A great raw bar.
