978 Cafe

This is definitely my favorite Cafe in town, if not the state. It all starts with some fantastic service. Right at the counter, I am always greeted with a friendly smile and super accommodating staff (I have a food allergy that is sometimes tricky to find food for). The food tastes fantastic. You can always find something genuinely and authentically made, not rushed or made using cheap ingredients. A great atmosphere to really sit down and enjoy your food with a friend or two. I love going with my girlfriend and enjoying a hot cup of coffee. I really hope more people try this place out because it is much better than starbucks in almost every way. I just miss the way they mess up my name. I remember this one time I went to 978 cafe and ordered a coffee. It was really busy so it was hard to get back to the counter. But this very nice girl with black hair in a ponytail brought my coffee right to me and said "I am so sorry for the wait I hope you have a fantastic day and come visit us again," even though it only took her a minute! Talk about excellent service. I am definitely going to come back here whenever I need some great food or coffee.

Excellent quick stop for breakfast! The owner was super friendly and interested in talking to us, as well as explaining the menu items. They have a couple of sandwiches to choose from (with both meat and plant based protein options) and the coffee (Dara mentioned it was organic and fair trade as well) was excellent. We took our meals to go today, but there is a cool seating area where you could eat or do some work. They also have poetry nights and rotating artwork on the walls. A diamond in the rough, we will absolutely be back!

I NEVER write reviews. The guy who runs this shop is so nice that I had to change that. Great products. Great pricing. Great service. He deserves much higher foot traffic. Good guy.

This place is great! I would definitely recommend them. I tried their coffee and avocado toast and I loved it. They’ve definitely been worth the try. The avocado toast was tasty and the coffee had really good flavor and tasted fresh!! The staff members were warm and welcoming and it looks like they have other really good things on their menu. I’ll be trying more of the things they offer and I’ll also be back for more coffee and toast.
