Its a very nice looking restaurant. Chopped salad was great steak frite was okay. Did not like the desert i had.
I and my daughter went last night and had a great dinner. The food, drinks and decor are spot on; not a place for a romantic dinner due to the high energy and noise level. Seems to be a hot spot more for adults and those after work which can be fun! My single complaint was our particular service experience. We sat for 5 minutes before a guy swung by quickly saying he would be taking care of us and would be right back. Another 5 minutes goes by and then he takes our drink order, 5 more minutes we get warm water, now 15 minutes have gone by and we only have warm water. So I decide it was best while we had him to go ahead and place our order before we had to wait again because these 5 minute laps were beginning to become repetitive and we were getting hungry. He seemed put off to my suggestion and said, “Don't you want me to go get your drinks first?” ; I responded if he could please take our order now. He seemed put off by my suggestion but agreed. 5 minutes later our drinks come, soon after some bread and butter so now it has been over 20 minutes before our dining experience actually started. Our appetizers and dinner came out in a timely manner and were terrific. But from the time I stepped up and asked if we could go ahead and order, he NEVER gave me eye contact and solely looked at, spoke to and acknowledge my daughter, like I no longer existed. WOW, that is so wrong and for someone who is in a service position in a terrific restaurant! We will be back, but I will never sit in Ken’s area again. I realize the restaurant was super busy as he, but to cop an attitude is simply wrong, especially since I was being nice about it from the beginning until he changed his approach.
We live in town and have had really great dinner service here, but have also had just OK service here. The food is really really good and I like that the menu changes frequently. Although they have the space, I don't think they have staff equipped to handle large parties...best to keep your party to 6 people max. Ambience is very minimalistic, borderline cold/stark, but the bar itself is a work of art.
