Omar's World of Comics

All of the employees are great. Derek especially helped me a lot and had perfect suggestions for my taste. He helped me find what I asked for and gave me tons of suggestions which I would’ve never seen on my own. He understands sales better than any other salesperson and knows how to suggests stuff to customers without pressuring and being too pushy. I asked if he was the owner because he has the prowess of one. To my surprise he was not…. This is a perfect store. If you are in the Boston area there is also a good store in Beverley too. There is also a restaurant upstairs which is beyond unique.

Love the game selection and organization. I need to update with feedback from a friend who's into comics, because they had many and I didn't know where to start. You can play a selection of board games (or surely bring your own) upstairs where there are plenty of tables.

We recently went to a Pokemon tournament that was run by the store. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The store was very clean and bright. There was plenty of room for all participants and spectators. The staff was extremely attentive to all my questions. The lan party area was very cool and my inner nerd was happy to see it thriving in 2023 where everything is hyper online. A small complaint was that the comic book selection was a little lacking. We were looking for a specific book that was recently printed and they didn't have it. Overall a wonderful place to hang out on a Saturday!

We were greeted warmly as soon as we walked through the door, and at first glance it was like walking into a Waldenbooks but custom built for nerds like me! Very clean, and very tidy we set to exploring right away and managed to find some cool trades by local artists.

Their game space looks well-equipped to handle multitudes of Magic players or whoever needs to get their game on. The added video gaming space is just icing on the cake. All in all, passes the vibe check, would go again.

Wow! What a fantastic store! Extremely spacious, plenty of books to dig into, and a welcoming atmosphere. I am so excited to have walked into this shop today. If you are looking for a comic book store this is a great place to check out. There are video games upstairs and I hear they will be expanding to serve more customer needs soon too. Highly recommend checking this place out! I will be back!
