Evviva Trattoria - Malden

Food and atmosphere were good but the service is just so slow. Dinner for 2 took right around an hour and a half. There seems to be a general vibe of disorganization within the staff. I was brought the wrong check and it seemed like tables near me were also having their own issues. I’d say if you aren’t bothered by slower service then this place is worth trying. If on the other hand your someone’s got little patience for stuff like this then maybe skip this place.

Food was excellent. Servers were very friendly. My problem was that my husbands order was mixed up 3 times. It was missing 2 vegetables. Told our server and they brought back one only which came out freezing cold…never heated up. Complained about that and the second one never coming out so they sent the manager out who offered to replace the whole meal. When we told our server we would take it to go we never bothered checking it till we got home. All we got was a container of rice and bits of squash. NO MEAT! Very disappointed. We thought it would be our go to restaurant since we live next town over and the food was delicious but never again. Three complaints and still didn’t get it right!

Our experience at Evviva Trattoria was very nice! The service was friendly, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice. If you sit outside, it can be a bit loud with the traffic and the train but that’s to be expected. It is still nice to sit on the patio with all the lights, music and fire pits. The food was good, nothing special. But will be returning to try more!

Each time we’ve dined the service has been friendly and efficient from the host to waitstaff. The food is tasteful and the menu has a nice variety. Desserts are very good and the tiramisu is delicious. Reasonably priced. We will definitely return and recommend you give it a try. The outside seating is busy on the weekend evenings but inside you won’t need to wait for a table.

Great food, staff, and atmosphere!

A group of us ate here last night. We had various appetizers, along with an entree each. My short rib risotto was to die for! Beautiful outdoor area with firepits to enjoy. We will definitely be back.
