Firefly's BBQ

Hit or miss with this place. The very first time I went, the food was delicious! The BBQ was some of the best I've ever had, and I'm from Texas. The second time I went was with family, and our meals were cold and dry. The third time I've been, the meal was average, but delicious. I don't go frequently, so these could be isolated incidents. Would recommend if you are looking for a BBQ fix

At last! A BBQ place in New England that is as good as the ones in Texas and Tennessee!!! I travel a fair bit for work, and absolutely love the BBQ when I'm in places like Texas and Nashville, TN. I've been disappointed by most of the BBQ places up here in New England. This place is better than many of the ones I've found in my travels. The ribs, brisket, and "burnt ends" were fabulous, and really loved the sides. The only tricky part is that parking is tight and this place is super popular.

Update: I spoke to the owner who reached out to me about this issue. He was big enough to admit that they did have an issue with a huge surge of take out orders at that time, but he also said that should not have effected our in restaurant experience. We talked at length about my experience so that he could learn from it and make sure it didn't happen again. The owner truly cared about my feedback and I appreciate that. We will be back!

Several years ago we came here for the Father's Day brunch. I loved it and we had the opportunity to return in June of 2019. I was really disappointed. They only had one type of ribs (St Louis) and they were overcooked and low. They ran out and it took them 30 minutes to restock them. This is a rib place! The same was true for many things from the prime rib and turkey to many deserts. The stations were a mess too. I talked to the manager to make him aware of the issues, but he didn't simply said they were aware and working on it. Disappointed. Not sure how they could do this so we'll a few years ago and then do it worse this year.

This place is great, where do I start? First, the service is excellent, the owner treats EVERYONE like they are family. The outside area is perfect for the spring/summer days & nights. The food is so good, couldn’t even finish my plate cause of the generous amount they give you! Go to this place hungry so you can get fully satisfied. Dante’s got redone and sounds great, more room to boogie.

I had high hopes for this place, and I was still pleasantly surprised. Not only is this some of the best meat I've ever eaten, but each and every side dish is incredibly tasty. The vibe is casual and fun, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the live music was a nice touch. Like any good southern style BBQ place, the meat is obviously taken very seriously, and it completely pays off. I will be going again, if only for those addictive burnt ends!
