Colleen's Ice Cream & Sandwich Shop

A classic dinner driving mainly ice cream and shakes, though they also have some sandwiches. I love the peanut butter Oreo milkshake here. Highly recommend Colleen's!

Weak AC if any. Decent ice cream at decent prices. I was excited about rum raisin being on the menu. $4 for a double scoop.

It was walking distance from our hotel (Hyatt Place).

It has been years since I have been here. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality ice cream and good sized portions my friends and I got. We were waited on right away with a smile and a thank u for coming upon leaving

It seems like new ice cream places are popping up in the area all the time but what you actually want on any given day is Colleen's. No lavender rose water coconut based BS here. This is the ice cream you had after ball games, school concerts and whenever you earned a celebration (doesn't matter if you grew up somewhere else [I did]--every place has a great shop like this) and it's actually as good as you remember! They also have grill items which I haven't had but look and smell delicious. And considering every kid was eating a grilled cheese when I went midday once, I would say it's a good one too.
