Macro-Mediterranean Holistic Nutrition, Ltd. Vegan Meal Delivery

This is a great service. I used Macro-Mediterranean to help with my diet and portion control for weight loss. Each serving is individually packed which makes it super easy to grab and go. They have an extensive menu and meal plans that take the hassle out of meal planning.

All the meals have nutritional information on MyFitnessPal, so you can track what you're eating. Also recommend to try items a-la carte before jumping into a recurring plan. Everyone's palettes are different, and I had few dishes I didn't like. But the majority were delicious. Also Jeremey is very responsive and open to feedback.

As a person with PTSD, I was struggling to care for myself. I was looking for a prepared food-delivery service. I saw this listing and thought, "Oh, I like Mediterranean food." I honestly had no idea what a excellent choice I made! The food is healthy, delicious, vegan, portion-sized, attractive, and the menus constantly rotate. Jeremy and Maria are fantastic- patient, flexible, took care of many of my last minute orders. I can honestly say that the main reason this company is so amazing is that J & M are passionate about creating health through nutrition. They offer affordable meal plans to address particular health needs, as well. It was my luck to have stumbled upon this gem. xx

Cooking whole foods can be time-consuming and certainly no fun when I’m already hungry or feeling too lazy to cook. In winter, I may not want to go out or can’t get out. Also, with Macro-Med ready to eat and always on hand, I’m less likely to grab snacks or comfort food. Macro-Med IS my comfort food because I feel good after eating healthy, and it’s delicious! I also love that nutritional information for Macro-Med meals is available on the MyFitnessPal app. I can track my food intake. All this results in help with weight control and maintenance.

Variety! I am eating meals I might never have tried or cooked. Even if I wanted to cook them, I can’t always find the ingredients I need locally. Or, a recipe calls for a teaspoon or two of a spice, and I have to buy the bottle, which is expensive. Then the spice doesn’t get used up before it goes stale or expires. Or, a recipe calls for only a small portion of something, and I have to buy a whole package or bag of it which then goes to waste.

Also, most recipes are for two or more servings, and I end up eating the same meal more times than I’d like. Unlike most food delivery systems, each Macro-Med meal contains one serving and you can purchase by the meal. There’s no waste, if you’re single.

Having found Macro-Mediterranean has made my life healthier, easier and better! Who doesn’t want that!

My recommendation to you is not to order more than one meal your first time. I found the shipping charges were much more than I had planned too. I ordered 6 meals and one dessert which was a pudding I've never tasted anything like that before. I did not find any of their food very good and the two tubs of vegetables I got was 80% celery and only a few vegetables thrown in. I will say that the company responses to emails quickly and we did go back and forth a few times. The company does not want to use styrofoam to pack their food for shipping for environmental reasons. Therefore they use a cardboard box and inside the box there will be several Frozen tubs of water and a blanket of sorts that according to the company insulates the food as good as or better than styrofoam. My experience was that my food came just almost room temperature. I was hesitant to eat it but decided to try it since it didn't smell bad. And of course that's why I know it didn't taste good. I ended up throwing out more than half of the tubs because of the taste. And I didn't finish those that I started.

No complaints. Excellent customer service. Great food. Well worth it!
