Ernie's is more than just about food. It is what I imagine going to breakfast was like back in the 60s. The staff is so friendly and checking in about how things are going. It is small, but intimate. Seems to be a place that would normally be lost in time. The food is delicious too!
Best breakfast I ever had. Very personable the owner is. Family type breakfast. Going back. Susan lo cigno
Great group of workers; super food , at good prices
Had the best time at this place. Everyone was so friendly. Breakfast took over an hour because we were having so many interesting conversations with the locals. Old fashion counter service cash only place. Sat on stools that had been there since WWII. Can wait to go back someday.
Ya so the people here are pretty great like everyone says. Super attentive and talkative. We chatted a while on the way out the door and enjoyed the conversation. The food is just like - well -fine but not something I can say I crave again. I cook breakfast often at home - pancakes, bacon, eggs and french toast - and this is really the very same thing. I guess when I go out I expect things to be a notch or two better and decadent. You know like bigger buttery pancakes, fluffier and giant egg servings, jucier thicker bacon and french toast that thick and covered with powdered sugar, and cinnamon. I may sound picky but this is pretty common! The food here is good - nothing special though.
