Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza

This pizza is truly great pizza.

The crust is thin-style, it's crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. It's cooked to perfection in their coal fired oven.

The tomato sauce is tastefully and noticeably different in a great surprising way. It tasted homemade, as if they made it fresh that day.

The toppings and ingredients were really delicious. My friend eggplant topping was crispy and well seasoned. I wish I had more!

The restaurant is nice and new. It has a dedicated bar area, seating area, pickup area, and outdoor patio area. The kitchen is completely open, so you can watch them make your pizza and place it on the oven.

I only wish there was one where we lived in western Mass, because I'd be there once a week.

Long wait for pizza. Was good when it arrived but our family was hungry. Service was a bit slow. Price reasonable. Order was botched but waitress made up for it by giving us free appetizer. Pizza is well done, which may account for the time, but wait was well over a half hour between entry and food.

The atmosphere at this place is excellent. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We've had our meals here several times and we are always amazed!

My first visit was yesterday, and the pizza speaks for itself. I got the individual pizza and the meatballs, and they were delicious. The bartender, Melissa, was very funny and nice. I can't wait to come back! :)

I love coming to anthony’s. Pizza apps and drinks are always delicious. Love how they rotate their beer menu. Great atmosphere, service can be hit or miss but was excellent last time I went. Paulie’s pie is my favorite. Best pizza spot in newton.
