Mochiko Hawaiian

This is the best thing to happen to Newtonville. I haven't had fried chicken like this in my entire life. We got the 4-piece with ghost pepper sauce, and holy cannoli! I expected it to be a gimmick, all spice and no flavor, but that was the most delicious ghost pepper sauce I've ever tasted. We also got the soy-garlic chicken plate and a Mayjah Matcha smoothie (with mini mochi inside!!!), both were absolutely fantastic. Oh, and the staff are some of the friendliest people on Walnut Street! They gave us free stickers! Good taste in anime and interior decor, too. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out.

This was so very very good. It took a little while to order and get the food, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Got the Mochiko Chicken plate and spam musubi and they were both simply delicious. I also added a side of mushroom gravy to put on my rice and that put the meal over the top. Can’t wait to go back!!

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and social, and the hardest part is to pick which bubble tea you'll want, I am looking forward to going back to try the rest!

Best fried chicken sandwich I ever had! Fresh, crispy and juicy the same time. An amazing selection of boba teas, smoothies and, Hawaiian coffee. Definitely my new favorite place!
