Don't choose the stuffed haddock - it has a nasty cake-mix crumb on top of it. Or the baked potato, unless you enjoy a microwaved one.
Fish and chips were good, and the Guinness.

It's my local and it couldn't be better. Sports screens if you want them, but easy to dodge if it is a dinner you are after. Great bar and good English pub feel. Love the Guiness!

O'Hara's delivers exactly what it promises. A friendly new-frills corner pub with a good selection of food and drinks. Nothing extraordinary, but everything is solid.

Great place to take the family or to just hang out at the bar for drinks and snacks.

One of the best local pub food places in Newton. Been around well over 30 years. Always good food and good people are good prices... has all from wings to finer food. Definitely ite go to place when you cant decide.

Great little spot to go and grab a quick bite or great for date night. Great beer selection and wonderful unique cocktails. They also definitely have the absolute best pizza in Newton hands down. Don't bother going to Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza unless you want to spend $25 and still be hungry. O'Hara's large pizza is $16 or an individual size for $12. They use the freshest ingredients and everything is made from scratch. My top two favorites are the "Amy's Roni" packed with premium Italian pepperoni, fresh mozzarella and house made marinara sauce. And the "Kelly O'Brien" which has a lot of super delicious eggplant and everything else to make your mouth water! I eat here at least twice a week and or call in to order pizza to go. This is the only place I can say that I found is really really good all around since moving to Newton from Brookline a year ago! O'Hara's checks off every box for me! Price, quality, ingredients, customer service!
