Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Newton Centre

This place has a delicious breakfast and great coffee. The place itself is so nice and looks clean. Has a good variety of delicious pastries. Parking is at the back of the building. I came in the morning and was lucky to find a table available.

Food was excellent. My breakfast sandwich was delicious and just right in size. The pastries were a gift but I have tried everything you see in the picture at one point or another. All delicious.

Very busy location, meter parking can be limited on the street but there is usually parking somewhere close by. My preference is to take out as it's always so busy there I don't think I would have a peaceful meal but in all fairness I have never given it a shot. Not very inviting to stay and eat but I still highly recommend this place, they have many locations throughout Boston.

I visited at lunch, while the restaurant was busy, the bright interior feels so inviting. I had a delicious turkey sandwich with a creamy pea soup. The cucumbers in my sandwich gave it a lovely fresh crunch and the warm pea soup was a perfect compliment to sandwich. Really great lunch!

Tatte has gluten free bread but I'm not sure if celiac safe, with so much bread around - cross contamination possibility is high.

Ordered:
-Smoked Salmon, Avocado & Egg Sandwich: look at the picture, need I say more? Delicious.
-Chocolate Croissant: generous amount of chocolate! Flaky outside. Just wish it was a little more airy. Overall satisfied.
-Flat white: solid drink!

Vibe: Bright cafe with lots of seating. But it’s so popular that you may have to wait for someone to leave in order to sit.

Parking: Street parking.

Would I return?: Yess!! Loved it.

Good overall experience. Price of bakery goods was comparable to other bakery’s.

Gluten free options available and clearly marked although they do not assure no cross contamination.

Staff was very polite and patient, we weren’t there at a busy time.
