Hopothecary Ales Brewery and Kitchen

We have been there twice and have had a nice experience each time! So happy that a place like this has opened in town. We love the selection of beers, truly they have beer for all tastes. They also have some arcade games to play as an added bonus! Hope to make this a regular place for us.

We were so happy when this place finally opened and it didn’t disappoint! Beer and cocktails were really good, but the food especially blew us away for a brewery. Ahi Tuna Nachos are a MUST. Such a unique dish idea that was perfectly executed. Hopothecary is our new go-to. 👌🏼
Would love if they could add a citrus beer to the menu!

Went here last night for the first time and am so glad we did. It's a big space with high ceilings and plenty of room to spread out. The staff was great and they offered great non-alcoholic beer options which is tough to find. My friends compared the beer to Tree House and bought several cans on their way out the door. Looking forward to coming back for a private event next weekend!

This was a great spot. Their beers are really good, and a pretty good variety so if you don't like ipas there's a few options that are just as good. Food was good, portions of apps could have been bigger but overall a good value for a nice night out. Inside is brand new and feels like a nice place for meeting with friends or a date night. I'll be back soon

We really liked this place. It’s is more of a high quality brew pub than a brewery. To be more specific - It’s a mixture of a brewery with arcade games, with a restaurant with TVs everywhere. Their food menu is great. They have wine, cocktails, and the beer that they brew on site. The inside is immaculate. They spent a lot of time designing it, and for the most part it was to perfection. There were some downsides, like the light fixture blocking the TV, and crowded path to the bathroom (with the kitchen being right there). The pizza and beer was good. Overall a good night out in north reading. Definitely check it out.
