I have eaten here about a dozen times. The service can go from awesome to meh depending on who you get. This is a good seafood restaurant and not just for fried seafood. Prices are reasonable, for fresh seafood. They keep the menu updated and try new things. This falls in the middle ground between a family place and some place like Legal Seafood.

We had the tater tot lobster poutine, it was tasty but could have used a little bit more lobster, a 2 for 22 plate of clams and shrimp (you can upgrade to bellies for $4 more) that was great, a small whole belly clam plate (2 sizes available) that was also good, haddock with Brussels sprouts that was very good, and fish and chips. The mashed potatoes were very good, the fries were OK, but nothing special. The bucket of hot rolls was wonderful - rolls are crusty on the outside, chewy on the inside and were actually hot. Perfect. The cole slaw was good - colorful and light dressing. The key lime martini was very good. The lemonade was very weak, not much lemon at all. The service was wonderful - Jeannette was attentive (but not too much) and was quick. $108, not bad for all we had. We'd go back.

What a gem. In Boston there are numerous New England fantastic seafood spots. Much more rare as you head into the suburbs north of our fair city.
But if you have a craving for Excellent seafood, quick service with a smile and the best cocktail or beer experience. Then Joe is your place. Try their raw oysters. That make you a believer. Eating them you can practically smell the salt air off the beach from which they came. That fresh. That tasty. It only gets better when you get a Sam seasonal beer and order a platter of the finest New England oceans can provide.
Never a bad experience at Joe's.

My first time here. The lobster bisque is very good. Then the fish tacos and lobster roll are also excellent. Really expensive. Total was over $50. But it was good. Waitress was good. Did a good job

Excellent......best tuna and seaweed salad. Tuesdays they serve 1dollar oysters. The wait staff are very attentive and work as a team. I like the Haddock Maria which is loaded with artichokes, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. It is a very large entree for the money. My husband loves the baked scallops. We are always pleased with our delicious choices.
