Half & Half

We tried the Half and Half restaurant for the first time on a Sunday morning. The food was excellent! The eggs Benedict was wonderful and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself has undergone a complete renovation and is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The only negative was the servers were having difficulty keeping up with the customers as they appeared to be slightly understaffed for a weekend crowd. We will definitely go again. Highly recommend for a delicious breakfast with a Cambridge vibe. A cute touch with a wall bell to ring on way out if you enjoyed your meal. 🙂

Perfect combo of delicious, beautifully plated food, fast friendly service and reasonable prices! I adored my breakfast of avocado toast with egg - a tasty work of art! The omelet bar is fun - got to see the chef preparing a perfect ham & cheese omelet. They have hash browns! Easy parking on Main Street. Worth the drive!

Hands down the best place for Avocado Toast and Savoury Waffle! This cute place popped out of nowhere and is winning hearts from people across the Greater Boston Area! The owners who work in the restaurant are super friendly and make it feel like you always did belong here! If you are in Greater Boston Area, this place is a MUST TRY! As a Vegetarian, I would recommend Savoury Waffle, Avocado Toast and Lava Sundae! This place also has an omelet bar which lets you customise and pick topping, will try that next time I’m there! 💯

Came on weekend for breakfast. Excellent food. Friendly service. Seems to be family owned and operated. They feature an omelette bar here. The omelette we had was prepared to perfection and delicious. If you enjoy omelettes–even a little–then this is not to be missed. Had a fluffy and crispy Belgian waffle paired with some sort of cinnamon maple butter that was well-thought and ideal sweet/savory flavor combination. Corn beef hash was also a standout and thankfully not over-salted IMO. Coffee was also good and, most importantly, attentively topped off by the courteous wait staff. This place is pretty new and Im seeing people who already look like regulars. This is a good sign. It’s great to have a new breakfast option in Reading center. There is not much web presence for this establishment yet, but they are very-much open for business.

This place seemed to pop up out of nowhere, so I figured, as a breakfast lover, I’d pop in. I had only been to Fusion Café once but the bright, fresh remodel was almost as welcoming as the owner, who was personally seating and serving everyone. They have an omelette bar set up and I ordered a custom one, which was promptly delivered to me along with potatoes. Both were excellent, fresh, big, and perfectly cooked. Owner offered side of meat, toast, and fresh juice but I was more than full with this and the coffee. There’s also a written menu but since I got the omelette I didn’t get a peek. What a great start and addition to Main Street. I can’t wait to come back.
