Really good brunch on Sundays. Interior is well designed and a great place to bring guests for dinner and drinks.
The service was attentive and amicable. The food was amazing. Even better we could top the night off with karaoke downstairs
I'd been in and out before, but it's always been super crowded and there were too many other places nearby without a wait so I'd never stayed. Finally went for a Sunday brunch, and it was calm and quiet, just what I was looking for. I went straight to the buffet and was looking to demolish it - having done a 150 mile bike ride the previous day. The food was fantastic: eggs, omelette station & scrambled, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, salads, yogurt, granola, crepes, french toast, more - it looked good and tasted even better. Set my stuff at the bar and came back from the buffet to a glass of water, silverware, napkins, and a drink menu. Service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect for what I wanted that day. Watched the Sox, ate my food peacefully, and resolved to come back soon and often.
Foundry on Elm is the sort of pub that makes me happy. The atmosphere is upscale, with soft lighting, deep colored wood tables and and comfy chairs. The drinks are a step up from your local spot, mixed with the seasoned hand of a bartender who knows their craft. The food was, without exception, excellent. We went for a birthday dinner, so many things, from salads to burgers to fish and chips were served. All were amazingly well prepared and delicious. I personally got the Foundry Burger and can say without reservation it was the best burger I have had in my memory that came from a restaurant kitchen. The mince mix was exceptionally well balanced for beefy flavor and texture, seasoned perfectly and cooked the same. I cannot recommend this enough, and it is the perfect thing to accommodate a beer or two after a long day or while watching the game on one of their televisions. Fret not, this is decidedly not a sports bar. Overall, if you find yourself in Davis Square, you owe it to yourself to try Foundry on Elm.
It's a nice place. I ate a burger and it was delicious. Looking at other people plates, i had a good impression about food. Ambient is nice, there is some background music. It was friday night, nothing in excess respect usual bars, just, not one of the most silent places if you want to have conversation.
