Balani (Waltham)

I love this restaraunt. Previously had never been to the area, glad I found it. Heard about this place through Phantom Gourmet and decided to give it a try and man am I happy I did. The atmosphere was quite honestly excellent. They had some incense or something burning that gave the restaurant its own distinct scent to it, a pleasant one at that. The staff working there are FANTASTIC. The lady working at the door seriously could not have been any friendlier, we were seated quickly and had like 2 waitresses come over right away and help us decide on the menu; which is also done very well I might add, just the right amount of options and sounds like it rotates somewhat frequently which is interesting. I had a “Indistinct Radio Chatter” to drink and ordered the “Steamed Mussels” for starters and the “Pan Roasted Angus Sirloin”; some of the best steak I’ve ever eaten in my short 21 year life... Honestly pretty much everything here is to die for, just go check this place out, you won’t be disappointed. Could not possibly give this place high enough praise. Check out the rest of Moody Street while you’re at it, pretty cool little place, lots of different restaraunts/stores, etc. to browse/eat at.

Wow. We had the best, crazy restaurant experience here. The interior decoration is unique, it’ll definitely take you on a trip. The food was absolutely delicious and you’ll get your money’s worth in the portions. Owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. I will be going back, many times.

Wow. Sensational from start to finish. Amazing cocktails (try the lavender gin gimlet), the best tuna poke we've tasted and a pretty impressive burger. The service was friendly and it was a great pleasure to meet Dave the owner. We'll be back

A Moody Street gem and one of the best dining establishments I’ve been to, bar none. Friendly and helpful staff, great great value for an upscale restaurant, super clean dining area, bathroom and kitchen. I liked the poutine, but you simply must try the burger. The attention to detail and days of preparation that goes into putting together their burger really shows in the taste and texture. Best burger I’ve had by a country mile. The chefs here clearly know what they’re doing. I’ll let the burger do the rest of the talking.
