This is a great place if you love ramen. My husband and I have been there several times already. We love to order appetizers their chicken karaage. They recently changed their menu and they removed our favorite seafood salad. My favorite ramen is signature ramen, in the past they offered to choose from chicken or pork. Now you can have only pork as meat for your ramen. It is good do not get me wrong. My husband tried all their ramen and he said they were all good. The servers are nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good, they have a good playlist. We love their music choice.

This place is great. I’ve been craving a great Ramen place in the metro west area for a while and WakuWaku delivers. We went at lunch time because dinner is always packed and I’m glad we did. Restaurant was less busy and we could really enjoy without feeling rushed. We had the pan fried gyoza, signature ramen, moshi and mango sake. Each item was perfect. The Pork Katsu that came with the Ramen was amazing. My 2 guests lived in Japan and thought the food was perfect. Can’t wait to try the other dishes.

This is our new favorite go to place for amazing food and service. Firstly, although the restaurant is small, the ambience is awesome. I love the decor and the music. They have enough space to accommodate a small group of 6-7. I have now visited Waku 3-4 times with different groups and was always treated with warmth and smile. Ae we’re seated very promptly everytime and the chef and staff are always very accommodating to any specific needs such as kid friendly options, vegetarian options, etc. Their peach Sake is delicious. The appetizers we’ve tried were all very flavorful. The edamame, dumplings and the seaweed salad are all amazing choices. Their Ramen is the best we’ve had in a long time. I would highly recommend the Tom Yum ( spicy), Signature and Miso Mushroom Ramen. The Sushi Tacos are surprisingly good as well. We also got shaved ice cream for dessert and it is sooo good! Love this place and their service.

I'm hesitant to tell y'all how great this place is because it's small, but it is SUCH a good addition to Moody St. Amazing ramen and the server/kitchen staff were more than accommodating to me as a vegetarian with some dietary restrictions (though, it would have been even easier if you could "build your own" ramen bowl). The sake selection is amazing and they decorated the place so well that it feels like you've been transported. Can't wait to go back!

Waku Waku Ramen and sake was on my list for quite some time and finally got to try the place. We will be going to try more of their ramen. Of the things we tried, we liked all of them. I ordered ramen as my main course and asked for extra spicy and it sure was spicy. My husband ordered donburi and he was not disappointed. They had a $5 appetizer special for the evening. We had potstickers and chicken karage. We like the house sake. It had interesting flavors. It’s on the menu that “first female sake mater in the US.” We tried both hot and cold. I liked the hot sake better.
