Ultimate greasy spoon! Love it ???? Easy parking, couple of great Armenian grocery stores nearby. Also, not a bad place to go for a bite to eat after going to the Mount Auburn cemetery which is only a few minutes away. It's old is run down but that's the charm of it. Not many diners left with the train like building, eat at counters or booths. Breakfast at any time is always good!

In my post about Harvard SQ, this wonderful diner, true to the genre was able to accommodate two 240LB friends and a 6 and 2 year old munckins (picky eaters) and all left very satisfied. The SQ may be in rebuilding mode, but there are still interesting place just outside that offers excellent fare.

Such a fun place! We went and I got an amazing burger!! The staff was so friendly and patient when we were there a little after closing too!

Worth the wait! This has really become our "brunch spot," we always take people here when they come to visit us! Excellent food and atmosphere. Yes, sometimes there is a bit of a wait for tables or food, but enjoy your company, have a little patience, and the experience will be well worth it! We love it here so much that we bought 2 mugs so we can reminisce on our times here when we move across the country. Thanks for everything Deluxe Town Diner!

We found the food to only be okay, fairly bland tasting. How can you even make bacon taste so boring? I had to salt and pepper everything heavily and dump syrup on my pancakes. And typically for a good pancake I won't even eat it with syrup or anything so that is a bad sign. And for a "retro" diner the prices were certainly not on theme, way too expensive for the quality we got out of our meal. The place was run down and dirty, as if maintenance and cleaning hasn't been done in decades. There were chips in the tabletop, a dirty cup left at our table from a previous customer, and the overall feeling of disrepair. On a good note, the waitress was kind and the bread was good. Plus the home fries were worth eating.
