Mike's Place Pizzeria & Roast

Great employees, very friendly and hard working. I went in during the Friday night rush and had my food much faster than I expected. I got the junior roast beef sandwich and it was huge! We also got the chicken tender dinner and the milky way cal zone. Everything was great. The desert cal zones are amazing, I would definitely recommend them if you have a sweet tooth, just be careful they are pretty messy. Convenient location too, with a parking lot for those picking up or eating in.

Mike's has great price to portion ratio. They have really good food. The only thing that I haven't been a fan of so far is the lettuce in the salads. I like green leafy lettuce and not iceberg. Everything else is really good.

Gentleman I placed the order with was extremely courteous and helpful. I ordered a steak and cheese and it was ready before I arrived. It wasn't toasted and I doubled up to make sure they would ????. When I got home it was inundated with oil/grease. The steak itself was ok, nice and finely chopped. The provolone cheese was sharp, so it was almost overwhelming. I prefer a mild provolone which is what is most commonly found. I added a lot of veggies, lettuce, tomatoes, to try and offset the grease. It worked, kind of, and I did eat most of it. Won't order another steak but I will be back to try other items on the menu.

Okay, you people know me by now and know I seldom give an eatery five Stars. But this place deserves it. I have decided to eat from here every Friday for the next month. Between my wife and I, we will cover a lot of the menu, I thought. But there just is not a way to do it. We had roast beef sandwich, fries, mushrooms, cheese sticks and chicken wings. Smallest order on each. After eating tonight, we have enough for atleast another meal for both of us. These portions are astronomical.
