This place is dine-in only, no takeout, despite google maps listing 3 different ordering options and their website not saying anything about it. Hope this saves others a phone call.
Like others said, reservations are recommended. I'll go a step further and say that reservations are required- this place is so popular that you won't be seated without one! Hoping I can actually snag a table so I can update my review with a food review too.

From the moment that my husband and I walked in ; we felt right at home! We loved the idea of BYOB, we ordered a few appetizers the Calamari was one of them omg delicious!!! The Cesar salad was my favorite the dressing and that home made crouton to die for.....

This is a place that you can bring business partners to for a dinner meeting, but it’s romantic and homey enough for date night and family night ! Sam’s won’t disappoint you !!!

This was the best Italian food I have ever had at a restaurant. Staff was so friendly. I highly recommend you try it.

Excellent Italian food. Small cozy place. BYOB, which we didn't realize. Surely not their fault - I hate to imagine what one needs to do to get a liquor license around here.
