Strega Prime

There are many Restaurants that prepare and present Italian food. It is difficult to find one that stands out so spectacularly. I was fortunate enough to be hosted by a regular client. Every thing he had promised was true. If anything, it exceeded expectations. Great service, wonderful food and a convivial atmosphere. High end offering.

Went there last night for the dollar oysters. They were the largest I've seen in a long time. Very tasty, I had 18 (that good). Lobster bisque was excellent also. I'll be back very soon. 6 stars.

Came here for an anniversary dinner with my wife and I had a good time.

The staff was friendly and tentative. They made sure my time at Strega was a positive one even the little things like “Happy Anniversary” on my desert.

Asking “what brings you in here” and I told them it was our anniversary in the very beginning and then having that written on our desert much later on in the night is one of those things that impresses me. For someone that is serving multiple table and remembering that is a A+ in my book.

Oh yeah, let’s talk about the food. It was AMAZING. The steak melts in your mouth. Very delicious and every bite was simply amazing. Outside of Texas, one of the best steaks I have had.

We were greeted immediately upon arriving. We requested seating in the dining room with Lucy , just a fantastic waitstaff she made our experience the best we have ever had dining out. Food was cooked perfectly ! We relaxed at the bar and received excellent service from Michael OUR Bartender . Friendly discussion, THIS will be our New Restaurant. Rebecca also handled our seating request very professionally over the phone. AND did I mention your waitstaff LUCY made us feel as if we were sitting in her home as her guests !

Good but not great enough to justify the prices.
I have only been here twice, both times on someone else's tab. This evening I ordered dry Sherry but they gave me cream Sherry. The spinach side dish was tasty but every bite was gritty. The salmon was fine and nicely cooked.
On a Monday evening the ambiance was subdued, which was welcome so we could converse without shouting.
