Greydon House

Very pleasant stay right in the middle of town and minutes away from the ferry.
The room was very comfortable with nice bedding and nice bathroom. The temperature was nice and warm for the winter. Staff was very nice and helpful.
The associated restaurant next door was also one of the rare find on Tuesday night after Xmas, very tasty, and very pleasant staff.

I was moved to The Greydon House from their other property The Anchor Inn. My accommodations at Anchor Inn where disgusting with a foul odor. I was happy to be moved to a beautiful room at the Greydon House. However, the door to the bathroom was filthy on both sides. It looked like a bathroom door at a gas station. The bathroom floor had multiple colored hairs … not mine. The bar and restaurant was sweltering hot! No one seemed to know if they could turn on the air conditioning. I asked the front desk manager if she could make some dinner reservations. We discussed dates and times. I never heard back from anyone. My three stars are for comfy beds, decor and an awesome bartender. Might have been five except for filthy door, lack of attention and temperature in restaurant.

Popped in without a reservation and was greeted by the sweetest front desk girls. The manager was so accommodating and even showed me two rooms so I could choose which one I liked best since I’m super sensitive to street noise. Beautiful rooms, the most comfortable bed and clean! Loved it.
