Nice venue, nice service but the food was average and quite expensive! 30 USD for a glass of red wine? 45 USD for a grilled Cod with risotto? A ripoff. We want return to this place.

The absolute best steak/meal I have ever had in my life! Great and knowledgeable staff and management. I will be back.

Davio's is always a perfect spot to eat no matter what time of day or evening. It obviously is not inexpensive however the food is always spot on and the service is meticulous. It is a classic Boston Style Northern Italian Steakhouse brought to the suburbs saving people on the South Shore the time it takes to commute to Boston and the expense for parking or valet. Our server on this particular evening was Ian and he knew the wine menu and the dinner menu inside and out and was a very pleasant addition to our experience.

It wasn't bad but also wasn't knock my socks off. The pop overs were very very good but besides that I thought the food was above average. I would give it 4 stars but I felt that the menu is constructed so that you really only get a great meal if you order the most expensive dishes, the lower cost meals were just that as well as preparation and flavor. My meal sat under the heat lamps so long it was dried on top and chewy and it was a pasta dish. So memorable I can't exactly remember what I ordered.
