A great place to have a barbecue with friends. Roasted chicken skin and roasted yellow throat are very much to my personal taste. Come again next time!
We stumbled in with a hankering for good Chinese food — and boy, did this place deliver! We ordered the Chef’s Special spicy pot and stir fried pork intestines. Both dishes were fun to eat and packed full of flavor.
Service here (like the atmosphere) is very welcoming and relaxed. If you shy away from spice, don’t sweat: They make every spicy dish a default “medium” level, then allow you to add spice as needed.
Overall, we happened on a Brookline Village gem and will likely be back soon!
It was Wu Er BBQ, now serves authentic Sichuan Cuisine. Grill fish tastes really good. We really like their BBQ pig feet, crispy on the skin but internal is soft.
They have a good taste of BGM :)
Try their bubble tea. The color looks fancy. And grill fish taste so good! Try the spicy chicken!!Friendly staff and good experience here definitely would back with my family!
We read the Yelp and Google reviews and were very excited for a great meal. It was fine, not great. The service was meh, prices fine.
When we first sat down, they immediately brought over ice water without asking. We always ask for water with no ice if given the chance and many asian restaurants serve water with no ice. This is perhaps our own pet peeve, but....
We ordered Pan fried dumplings, egg roll, stir fried baby bok choy with tofu and veggie lo mein. Food came out pretty fast and all at once. We had to ask for dinner size plates as only app plates were provided.
Dumplings were smaller and crispier than we usually get, but tasty. Eggrolls were ample size and tasted moistly of oil.
Both entrees were extremely oily and salty. The tofu and bok choy was decent, although the it seems like the oil they use is perhaps old. The lo mein was just too saucy and over salted.
We got the check and put down money and waited and waited. Finally I caught the eye of the waitress and she came over and took the payment.
The place is nice looking and the menu is large. Perhaps we just hit them on an off night.
