Wow.

Absolutely great tacos, what makes a good taco is the tortilla.

Thank out of 23 restaurant in the boston area here the tortillas are freshmade.

This is hands down best taqueria in town.

I was disappointed when Dorado on Harvard Ave. closed recently, but Taqueria El Barrio more than makes up for the loss. Excellent food, great staff, and a perfect location.

The place is something Boston has been waiting forever to have. I was first in the line when they just opened and despite the wait I was quite surprised by quality of their food. I had an El Pastor Torta and Taco chicharrón and el pollo. The portion was huge. The tacos were very juicy and flavorful! I also line the concept that you can eat as much sauces as you can and they all very authentic. I mean authentic (spicy hot, not all of them). Wait till you try them! I wish this place good luck! They know what traditional Mexican food is about! 5+ star taco place!

Great flavors, super satisfying. Traditional taqueria menu, with tortas and quesadillas to boot! Typical Boston street parking situation, so plan accordingly. However, B line passes right in front of it.

The service is great and my taco was even better! I really enjoyed the taco with pescado (fried fish). I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size; one taco is plenty for a light lunch. At less than $3 per taco, I can’t wait to try them all! Thank you to Servio and the rest of the team!

The churros are really great as well :)
