Excellent addition to the area. Service was top notch, atmosphere was light and fun, super clean. Obviously the most important part was the food. This is probably my favorite sushi experience I've had in the Boston area.
Dinner was incredible. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I’ve never been more impressed with a restaurant and its service or food. There’s valet parking which was extremely convenient, we were sat quickly and immediately met with recommendations and ideas to make our dinner perfect. We ordered several items from the menu and each one was better than the next. While we sat at the bar, we watched each plate being meticulously put together with care and precision. Everything was so fresh and delicious! I’d definitely recommend it and will be back!
Gonk and David took very good care of me.
I was tired at home but I got onto their website and started reading their menu so I threw on some clothes and headed out
I called them from outside and said hey can you take one right now and they said yes
They have valet parking. I parked on a side street but I tipped the valet $20 each anyways
so I went in and as you can see from the pictures I ordered a little bit of everything
I would highly recommend this dining experience
I truly enjoyed myself and the food I was served
Knowing this was a new restaurant that just opened in March, I made reservations for our anniversary at 7:15pm. The place had nice decor and was a small place. We were told that tables were running over. Ok, waited at the bar to get a drink. 20 minutes later, no one was getting up so the hostess was nice and offers the end last 2 seats at the bar. At this point I'm already annoyed. Why bother making reservations if I can sit at the bar and it was an anniversary dinner so I wanted a dining experience. I would've left if we didn't drive an hour to get there.
After calming down thanks to my husband we sat at the end of the bar and there were sous chefs at the bar so it was a different experience. The manager at the end of the bar helped us pick out Sake that wasn't too sweet (Demon slayer). Having been to OYa, Zuma, and Umami Omakase I knew there wasn't Omakse so we ordered 9 Types Chef Choice, scallop sashimi, madai (since they didn't have flounder) and skirt steak. Everything we had were great. Fai, the sous chef made it nice at the bar.
Overall, atmosphere was loud a bit loud. Would've been nice not to scream to make sure they heard me. Service was great, didn't miss a beat. Food was good but not blown away. High End sushi place like Karma. Please don't have customers put in their credit card to hold reservations for a table IF there's no table.
Amazing food ! The atmosphere and drinks are amazing. Although it’s a little bit outside of the city it is well worth the drive. Their ingredients are amazing and every dish is prepared with love. We literally sat there and kept trying dishes we saw being made because they all looked amazing. Be ready to spend some money but we will be back. Our server was amazing too !
