We finally had the chance to stop in to El Centro and I wish I had done it sooner! The decor is fantastic, all of the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. The fresh salsa that is brought to the table is delicious. It is mild, so even my daughter enjoyed it. I got two tacos, a barbacoa and a shrimp. They were both very good, but that just doesn’t seem like a strong enough description for the shrimp taco. It was amazing! It had just enough heat and was so fresh! My daughter got a chicken taco which was very mild, but flavorful. It has a strong tomato base, so if you like tomato flavor, I would definitely recommend that one. My husband got a fish taco that looked amazing. I can’t remember the other one that he got, but he was very happy with his selection. They also come with a side of rice and beans, which were quite tasty. All in all, it was a really good experience and we will definitely be back!
They have Horchata!!! I am from So Cal and am always searching for the real thing out here. One can always judge by the seasoning and flavor of ceviche, and they nailed it! It's my new go to. Love love love it.
I only took one start off because it didn't have fajitas. Call me picky but I do believe that any good Mexican restaurant should have fajitas. Otherwise, their carnita asadas were pretty good and the vibe is pretty cool. The waiting staff seem attentive and considerate. I enjoyed the food and will be back, even if they don't have fajitas ????
Went there for Taco Tuesday, which equates to half price tacos. As a result, I did not spend much time looking at the rest of the menu. Taco selection and execution were outstanding. Server and staff were super sweet and efficient and helpful. The place is kind of rustic, with exposed brick and what looks like reclaimed barn board tables. I dug the vibe. The tables were a little close together for my liking, and I had to continually adjust and be wary of my personal bulk to get to and fro the table. I had a draft Mexican beer which was reasonable. The cocktails looked good, but seemed a bit pricey (all the featured cocktails on the menu were $12-16) for a rustic Mexican place in Dedham Square. I see they also had Margarita Monday-not sure what that means, but maybe that is my next move! I will be back.
