It's very difficult to find a great cup of coffee in a restaurant theses days. They had the best coffee I've had in a long time. The fish chowder was wonderful, the burgers were perfect. Thank you for a great meal. 👍

It was busy when I arrived so I put my name in and they said the wait would be 35-40 minutes. Nearly an hour later we asked if the table was nearly ready and they said there was still 10 people ahead of us. Not worth waiting at that point. I'll give it another shot but wish they took reservations/ provided accurate wait times.

Went there last week and sat at a high top. Interior is nice and our table was clean. Ten minutes went by and no one came over and took our order. Spoke to the hostess and and she sent a waitress right over (Lyndsey) who was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the nachos which were cold and looked like someone just dumped salsa and guacamole over some chips and called it a day. We also ordered chicken tenders which were also cold and did not taste fresh. Not impressed at all. We love The Gavel and will keep going there.

Went here this past Sunday with my parents and daughter. Place was great! Food was great and came out very quick. Prices are very fair. Staff was very nice and helped us with getting a high chair. Having TVs for sports is always a good thing. Really no complaints.

My wife and I stopped by the Raillery in Franklin, MA for lunch. We both loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was phenomenal, they removed used plates at the edge of the table quickly. The food was pretty good- but we ended up only doing appetizers instead of getting meals. One thing I really liked was the cauliflower poppers; great flavor and a little spicy kick at the end. The steak and cheese tacos were also awesome. The only thing I had that wasn’t that great was the prosciutto wrapped scallops- the prosciutto was sliced a bit thick and it overpowered the flavor of the scallops. Despite this minor thing, I would definitely like to return and do dinner here! Great pub.
