The Townshend

This place is a fun experience. Lots of unique drinks and dishes. Bartenders are great. Small place, great for a date or to start out the night before hitting some dive bars

The vibes and atmosphere were awesome. City prices. Beer selection was decent for craft. Water filling service was thorough. Server didn't check on us as often as they checked on the tables with wine drinkers.... But the staff was so nice and helping. The food was good. Ordered a burger, cooked to my preference (but only cheddar for cheese... should have more variety options) because the menu items I wanted were sold out-- mark of a good dish is having none left. Would have liked to try that bolognese though! Would definitely come back if I was in the area and was feeling the atmosphere again. Solid little place.

My wife and I traveled to Quincy for an event. We asked a local friend where we should eat before hand. The Townsend was his suggestion and it was a great one. Service was fast, we split a burger, which was cooked perfectly and constructed even better! Rosemary fries were out of this world and the server gave us the low-down on the art up on the walls.

Highly recommend stopping by!

Everything was so delicious! From the homemade chips to my chicken pest sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I always try to find restaurants which can impress my mom (which is extremely hard to do) and this was a home run! I can't wait to introduce this place to more people!
