Another hot pot restaurant added to my favorite list. Overall everything was delicious but the pork bone broth was the best and special. Staffs were friendly and quick service. There was always someone came to check up on our table frequently. The decorations are incredible.
I’m obsessed with this new place.
Highly recommend this place to anyone that likes hotpot. Broths and ambiance/decor are amazing. House made cilantro balls and shrimp paste are fantastic. The sauce bar has everything you could want. Leo and the staff are friendly and attentive! Really glad to have them in the neighborhood!
Had the honor of visiting Wei Shu Wu Hot Pot with a very good friend who I haven’t seen in awhile. I was completely blown away! The food, sauce station, decor, vibe and service are all over-the-top amazing. If I can rate this restaurant 10 stars I totally will!
Hands-down the best Chinese hotpot in Boston. All the ingredients are super fresh and you’d also find rare ingredients which are Chinese favourites that aren’t usually offered at other hotpot restaurants in Boston like Goose Intestine, and Pork Brain. Every meat I’ve tried (we ordered some Carp and the Lamb/Beef combo) is of premium quality and super tender.
The sauce station is unbelievable. No watered-down condiments at all. Was very pleasantly surprised by the Green Pepper Beef Sauce which you don’t see alot.
Needless to say, the food was prepared with much love and care. The owners know what they are doing and their commitment to bringing you the most authentic Chinese hotpot experience shines through every dish from their appetizers all the way to the desserts (Soy Pudding w/ Caramel Glaze let’s go!!!).
Do yourself a favour and come get a taste! Do not sleep on this new addition to the Boston food scene!
We had a fantastic experience at Wei Shu Wu! You are immersed into a really cool, thoughtful interior as soon as you step in with authentic bricks lining the walls, bold art, and even a small bridge on one of the walkways. Each seated area feels like it's own private section and we were lucky enough to be seated in our own little hut as we had 8 people (2 kids) in our party. The 8 of us sat very comfortably. The food was really good, with deep flavored soup. The "2 pepper" spice level was already so hot but we were chasing that aggressive szechuan peppercorn taste so it paid off really nicely. The veggies, meat, and seafood were all really fresh and the sauce station had a wide set of options. The staff were really attentive and fast, and we had food within minutes of ordering. I highly recommend the fried squid, the beef short rib, and shrimp with shell. The caramel tofu pudding was such a cool, clean way to top off a spicy, hot, oily main meal. Really an unforgettable experience overall!
This new Hotpot restaurant has good ancient Chinese style, those foods are delicious, good environment, and the waiters have a good service attitude.
