“Red Wing Diner is a down to earth, unassuming place with the best fried whole belly clams anywhere. The onion rings are also incredible. I don't know what kind of oil they use but it is so very light and the food is delicious! Highly recommended. The service is outstanding. We had a party of seven people and our waitress must have had a photographic memory. She got everything right down to the smallest of details and she did not even have a notepad. I will be back!”

They hit a home run on every front for those who want a burger, fires and a drink. If you want a vegan meal, spinach smoothie and a latte with a splash of soy you need to go somewhere else. “It was lunch time, only a few tables of patrons. The clam chowder was good, but the fish tasted like burnt oil! Guinness stew was good. Whween asked "what's good" the waitress wasn't entirely forthcoming with a helpful answer. Maybe there's an "unspoken rule" inn restaurants, that waitresses shouldn't actually give a recommendation? IMO the waitress is the sales person and should be able to sell you the food to make money for the restaurant!”

“The institution that is Dunkin', I have loved the donuts at Dunkin' since I was born. And that what this place is , a donut shop that serves coffee. And they are masters at it. You can totally ruin your diet on some very tasty pastries and wash it down with coffee. I also love their bagels and cream cheese ... with a coffee. We are lucky to have so many excellent coffee shops to choose from, and millions choose Dunkin' for just coffee every day. I choose Dunkin' for their food with coffee and choose somewhere else when I want coffee with food. Dunkin' is king at what they do from a menu, marketing, and atmosphere standpoint”
