Pros: Good rates, good fun.
Cons: Definitely an "old school" vibe if you like that sort of thing. They do not have automatic scoring, so you have to manually enter it into the machine yourself. I might come again, but I wouldn't bring my kids. Many of the '90s music videos playing were not appropriate for children.
This place has changed greatly! I will say, it used to be dirty and raggedy. But I'm so glad to see that has been solved. This place is affordable, the staff is very friendly, and it's fun for everyone!
Great bar vibe and draft selection. Plenty of outlets for charging and fun grey noise so you can sit and get work done. If you're in to bowling - they got that, too. I'm not one for sports but I'll happily have beer and write a novel or something. The food is good too.
I've been bowling here since I was a kid - it's a great place! Recently, we had our class reunion here - the newly remodeled bar, now called Luci's, is beautiful and the setup for a function was perfect. We had the 8 lanes in front of Luci's and our own side of the bar. They played 70s music for us. We had pizza (including a gluten-free one) and salads - all delicious! Lou & John were fantastic to work with. I highly recommend checking Webster Timber Lanes out for your next function!
I have not been here in years. Last time it was a dated, smoke stained vestige of a bygone era. That’s why I was very surprised when I visited recently and found a completely renovated and modernized facility. My kids loved the cosmic bowling and their new pricing scheme seems like a better value (pay per hour instead of per game). It was nice to see they kept some of the older murals and a few other aspects of the old alley and worked it into the new renovation. It’s a clean and family friendly facility. I highly recommend you visit.
