Assinippi Eating Establishment

So it’s a very busy Saturday morning & I’m in line waiting for a place to sit (first outside and then inside the door). One by one, these two ladies walk by me and go inside.
So my mom joins me in line & we are now next to be seated. A booth opens up, and as we sit in the booth, these two ladies (that walked my me while I was in line and who were standing at the other end of the restaurant) claim that it’s their booth. I said they walked right by me when I was in line....they said “That’s not true”....well, yes it was.
1) Why did these ladies walk past me instead of waiting in line like everyone else did?
2) Maybe there should be a chalkboard where people can write their name when they approach so everyone one is seated fairly?
NOT a good start to the day. Maybe they can come up with a system to prevent incidents like this.
P.S. Food was good.

Hadn’t been here in a really long time. Was meeting longtime friend to catch up over breakfast. Unfortunately she was caught in traffic jam after I sat down. I had coffee while waiting (20-25 mins). Other customers came in and sat within minutes so I didn’t feel I was unfairly occupying the table. Waitress started off ok (just ok) but after my friend arrived she became ruder with each interaction. Even informed my friend I’d been waiting 40 minutes. We ordered and ate quickly, she snatched our plates off the table without a word when we were done. We still tipped her but received no “thank you” or any type of verbal interaction beyond “is this all set?” Nothing but a dirty look as we left. Both of us have worked retail and difficult customer service jobs. We’re not ignorant. So disappointing! Kind of spoiled the whole experience. Food was very good.

This place is the greatest. It's been there forever and the staffnis so friendly. With food prices right out of the 1980s you can't loose. Turkey dinner for under 8 bux you. Can't loose.

Really good food, rustic atmosphere Unfortunately they have not updated anything at while the sheats are uncomfortable and if you're interested in eating there be prepared to wait because they have far less seats that they have demand.
