Stars On Hingham Harbor

My husband loved the steak special that he ordered, it was cooked perfectly. My salad with grilled chicken was delicious, as was our pretzel bites. The atmosphere was casual and the wait staff was friendly and helpful.

The service here was excellent from the start to the finish. It was packed, but our waiter was kind and attentive. I ordered the seafood platter, it was a lot of food and is too much for one person. At market price it was $27, which is less than a very similar seafood platter at another local restaurant. Overall I enjoyed my food and the comfortable atmosphere here. I would go back again.

Great menu with plenty of delicious options. Booth seating and tables available. Good for a brunch date. Can accommodate small groups up to 6. More than that can be cozy. Parking on-site may be difficult. Small parking lot, but you can easily walk there from public parking nearby.

Stars is great. I've been probably 50 times in the last decade or so. Though often busy, crowded (and the booths are cramped for my 6'1" frame), and parking is tight, they make up for it with speed of preparation and food that is hot and delicious. I particularly enjoy the fact that they have unique variety yet aren't too "out there". The jalapeno corn bread, for instance, is fantastic.

I have enjoyed all of the staff. The worst thing about this place is the parking but if you go on the busy days you might have to walk over or a bit farther but I think that's fine. I prefer the in between times but truly any time is good.
