Carmela's Restaurant

Nice place for a late lunch. Can be noisy at high
lunch and dinner hours, but lovely at 2. Food was very good, and priced fairly. Would definitely go again.

Just got back from Carmela's in Kingston. We went with another couple and we were all pretty satisfied with our meals. Our waitress - yes waitress - not server, was good. She took our food order, brought it to our table, and minutes later came by to ask how our food was. Sounds good, right? The only thing is she did all this without so much as a smile, or even one unneccessary word. It was as if a robot was taking our order and delivering our meals. I swear I've felt more warmth from a hardware store clerk when buying a box of nails. Trust me, I'm not one of these people who think waiters and waitresses should fawn all over them, but a smile and making them feel welcome would help to make a dining experience pleasurable.

Great waitress - quick, friendly, and attentive. Big portions for good prices and tasty Italian food. Great atmosphere (kudos to the DJ because the songs in the background were very nice).

This place is a gem! Food is fantastic, service is friendly and helpful, and gluten free choices for my girl that she cant get anywhere else. Quickly became our favorite restaurant on the South Coast.

I just want to thank everyone working @Carmella's Friday afternoon. We were the party of 20 at lunchtime. The staff was so accommodating and attentive. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere after a rough day saying our final farewell to my father-in-law. Thank you for the great service and we can't wait to come back under happier circumstances. Great job!
