Ordered take out, quick, reasonably priced. The food was excellent, portions generous. They always have a few specials. The quality was very good. The staff always great no matter how busy. Not fancy typical seaside indoor eatery not waitstaffed. Simple accommodation.
Best seafood in Plymouth - hands down. Confirmed by Trip Advisor and comments from locals. Extremely fresh seafood. Very casual dining, on the dock, if you choose to eat in. Really good cooked shrimp cocktail, awesome clam chowder, amazing whole clam and lobster rolls. And tasty steamers with no sand or grit! Friendly staff. Fast service - but best to call in orders in advance for pickup.
Best Seafood in Plymouth. Fish market and small quaint restaurant. Been going here for almost 50 yrs. Never let me down. One of the last original seafood restaurants. Thanks Woods for yrs of great food and service.
Ate at Wood's with the family over school vacation. Girl at the counter was knowledgeable and helpful. Ordered 2 lobster rolls which came with fries and I barely saw them eat! My seafood platter easily could have fed 3people. Luckily, we had enough to take home. The cup of chowder I also barely saw. The indoor seating was small. We will definitely return again!
Back in Massachusetts again! We had 3 people, ordered a Seafood Platter, tried the Lobster Bisque and enjoyed the Corn on the Cob. All 3 were excellent but next time I think I'll explore the $10 items. Not everyone can or wants to eat seafood. If this is you ask one of the counter people for a suggestion. They've done good by us!
I am very impressed by this wonderful restaurant. They have fresh and delicious local seafood. Dining is all self serve, which sometimes is preferred in a dining situation. Traditional selections are fantastic and are certainly classic to the New England coast.
